SATTICUS CELLARS boasts its own vineyard, which is home to Primitivo and Petite Sirah varietals. In addition, the winery sources Bordeaux, Rhone, Italian, and Spanish varietals from vineyards that embrace rootstocks and clones that are best suited for the Sierra Foothills appellation.

Satt’s love for farming was instilled in him from a very young age, growing up on a small farm that was home to peaches, prunes, and walnuts. As he grew older, he developed a deep appreciation for wine and its intricate flavors. He knew that he wanted to combine his love for farming with his passion for wine, and that’s how SATTICUS CELLARS was born.
